This Week in Books June 6 to June 12

Books Calendar at Frank Mundo's LA Books Examiner/Photo by Nancy MundoIt’s been a busy few weeks for The LA Books Examiner. Since our last Books Calendar, we interviewed New York Times bestseller author Allison Winn Scotch about her new book The One That I Want. We profiled activist Judy Shepard, sharing the first chapter of her New York Times bestselling book The Meaning of Mathew. Look for our interview with Shepard in the coming weeks. We introduced new author Holly Christine with a revealing interview about her fascinating new novel Tuesday Tells it Slant and we shared a new Five Favorite Books article from suspense writer PI Barrington. Frank Mundo, The LA Books Examiner, was also a guest on the Chris Treece Blog Talk Radio show.

Look for more great author interviews and new Five Favorite Books articles every Monday in June. In the meantime, check out some local book events scheduled for this week from LA to Hollywood, the Palisades to Pasadena in this week’s Books Calendar from the LA Books Examiner.
