Books Calendar: This Week in Books May 23 through May 29

May has been a busy month for Frank Mundo, The LA Books Examiner. This month we interviewed bestselling authors Charlaine Harris and MJ Rose and profiled the work of new authors Boyd Morrison and Reece Hirsh, sharing the first chapters of their respective debut novels. We also had two Five Favorite Books articles by Paranormal Mystery writer Elizabeth Eagan-Cox and Oscar-Nominated filmmaker and children’s book author Margaret Hyde. The LA Books Examiner was also a guest blogger for The Journal of Cultural Conversation, sharing a short story in memory of Frank’s late brother, Joe Mundo.

Look for more great author interviews and other features to finish out May. In the meantime, check out some local book events scheduled for this week from LA to Hollywood, the Palisades to Pasadena in this week’s Books Calendar from the LA Books Examiner.
